Cara gampang menilai website scam atau bukan

Bisnis online bagaikan hutan rimba yang bisa diambil keuntungannya seperti petani mengambil hasil hutan, tetapi juga bisa menyesatkan bagi yang tidak berhati-hati dan belum mengenal seluk-beluknya.
Ada banyak bisnis online ditawarkan di internet, mulai MLM, Forex, Reseller, PTC, Review dan ribuan jenis lainnya. Memang sedikit diantaranya betul-betul menguntungkan, namun sebagian besar adalah scam  alias tipu-tipu.
Nah, berikut ini sharing saya sebagai orang awam yang lagi belajar di internet bagaimana bersikap hati-hati di 'hutan rimba' internet ini

Untuk mengetahui sebuah website scam atau bukan bisa melalui situs seperti scam.com . Namun scammer yang licin akan segera membuat website baru saat webnya yang lama terdeteksi sebagai web scam supaya aksi tipu-tipunya terus mendapat korban baru.
Tetapi penulis memiliki sedikit tips untuk menilai sebuah website scam atau bukan.
Pertama, Lihat Alexarank nya. Caranya gunakan browser Mozilla Firefox untuk browsing situs yang anda curigai scam yang sudah terinstal add on SEO Status Pagerank/Alexa Toolbar 1.5.9. Untuk mengunduh add on tersebut silahkan DL di http://addons.mozilla.org
Kemudian buka alamat situs yang anda curigai scam. Setelah itu coba lihat alexa rank dan pagerank situs tersebut. Situs baru biasanya belum punya alexarank alias N/A.
Contoh dibawah yang saya pakai adalah grahapulsa.com yang sudah memiliki alexa rank 1.860.457

Kedua, lihat kapan web itu dibuat dengan mengklik menu Whois dari add on yang sudah kita instal tadi. Bisnis besar akan lebih meyakinkan jika situsnya sudah cukup lama dibuat, artinya selama ini situs tersebut tidak melakukan scam.

Dari hasil tersebut tampak bahwa web ini dibuat tahun 2006, jadi lumayan lama. Kalau web scam ga akan bertahan sekian lama sampai tahun 2012 (6 tahun)
